Coming from an enormous and tight knit Indian family and community, I've attended many weddings in my lifetime. These events created lifelong bonds, everlasting memories and an energized environment I could not get enough of. Specializing in South Indian weddings, wedding planning allowed me to utilize my talents of staying organized, creating timelines and executing the finalized plan. My goal is always to go above and beyond to execute wedding plans and keep couples at ease during the entire planning process. I Do Wedding Planning is committed to keeping you relaxed on one of the most important days of your life and forming friendships that extend beyond the wedding day.
Leave all the details, communications with vendors and stressful situations to me who will treat your wedding as my own.
As always, to Him, be all the Glory.
My story starts in 2012 when my childhood friend asked me to coordinate her 750 guest reception in Chicago. I really enjoyed the adrenaline rush of the experience so I coordinated many of my friend's large scaled Indian receptions intermittently (with the help of other friends) for 6 years afterwards.
In early 2018, I joined a wedding planning company where I was exposed to and coordinated non-Indian weddings. In late 2018, I established my own company that serves mostly (but not limited to) the South Indian population all over the United States.
The beauty of the creation of this company was found in the fluidity and ease in how everything fell into place at the most perfect time and way. I could not have asked God to write my story any better or with more grace. This company satisfies my deepest longings and desires of finding community, making new friends and nurturing my creative and organizational side.
